Panther Dbl

Here is a link to Panther Double, just in case you got bored with all the X, XX, Neg X (is there a positive X?), Lightner etc out there...
This one comes from Zia and as such is most probably double as good. :)

A Panther Double? Is this really Zia's invention?

Most players call this a speculative double, when the opponents reach game through a limited, invite auction, and you double because you think the cards are lying poorly for them. I'm sure this double goes back to at least the 1920s.

Also, that first auction where your opps mysteriously reach 4S, I think I call that a "principle" double, as in "WTF was your auction?"

Anyway, I was just wondering how you found this... I just don't think this source is that legitimate :)
